OUR BELIEFS

what we believe

The hallmark of Heritage Baptist Church is the preaching and teaching of God’s eternal Word. In all of our Sunday school classes and from the pulpit we declare timeless precepts from the Bible coupled with practical applications for daily life.

We seek to glorify God with music that lifts up the name of Christ. Our traditional, yet exciting, congregational singing and special music aids each individual’s opportunity to participate in expressing God’s worth to Him.

Finally, we hold to traditional, Biblical, Baptist beliefs. In our drifting society, where families are torn apart and violence is rampant, people need a solid, steady anchor. We believe the time-tested truths, preached and taught with relevance and compassion at Heritage Baptist Church, offer that anchor of peace and steadfastness people are seeking.

We believe He alone is the mediator and intercessor between God and man.

We believe in order to be “saved” the soul must be born again.
